After training as a design assistant, Johanna studied art history and worked in a cultural environment for several years — a period that further sharpened her sense of aesthetics and visual narratives. She has been part of the MINT team since 2006 (and therefore longer than MINT is called “MINT”): From an internship to various stages in design, she developed into an art director.

Her focus is on design, illustration and final artwork. She loves to tell stories visually with pen and ideas — both analog and digital. Her personal dream: writing and illustrating her own children's book.
